CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties Appoints Vickie Ricord as CEO
CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for at-risk children and youth, has appointed Vickie Ricord as its new chief executive officer (CEO). Ricord, who has been with the organization since 2015, has held several leadership positions, including Interim CEO, chief operating officer, and chief program officer.
Leadership Transition and Experience
In a recent announcement, CASA highlighted Ricord’s extensive background in nonprofit leadership, child advocacy, and organizational development, noting that she brings over 15 years of experience to her new role. Her appointment follows a period of leadership transition, during which she successfully guided the organization while maintaining its growth and stability.
“I am honored to step into the role of CEO,” Ricord stated in a prepared statement. “This organization has been my home for nearly a decade, and I am continually inspired by our staff, volunteers, and partners who give so much to ensure children in our community are seen, heard, and supported.”

As she takes on her permanent position, Ricord emphasized her commitment to building on CASA’s strong foundation. She expressed a desire to expand the organization’s impact on the vulnerable children it serves, stating, “Together, we will continue to build on CASA’s strong foundation and expand our impact for the children who need us most.”
CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties plays a vital role in providing court-appointed volunteer advocacy, helping to ensure that children facing difficult circumstances receive the support they require.
