CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties Appoints Vickie Ricord as CEO
CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties has appointed Vickie Ricord as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The organization, based in Westminster, focuses on providing court-appointed volunteer advocacy for at-risk children and youth. Ricord’s elevation to this role follows a decade of service in various leadership positions within the nonprofit, including Interim CEO, chief operating officer, and chief program officer.
According to a news release from CASA, Ricord brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, child advocacy, and organizational development to her new position. She steps into this permanent role after successfully guiding the organization through a leadership transition while maintaining growth, stability, and community trust.
Ricord’s Commitment to Advocacy
Joining CASA in 2015, Ricord has cultivated deep ties with the organization and its mission. “This organization has been my home for nearly a decade,” she stated. “I am continually inspired by our staff, volunteers, and partners who give so much to ensure children in our community are seen, heard, and supported.” Her dedication to CASA’s mission is evident in her commitment to expanding its impact for vulnerable children.
