Botiller, born Bernard Ordway Botiller on January 5, 1930, in Los Angeles, spent most of his life in the area, with the exception of a brief time in Iowa during his childhood and his service in the Navy at the age of 19. A Life of Love and Family

Barney is survived by his two children, Ursula and Ted Botiller, five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He shared a deep bond with his wife, Ursula “Rusty” Botiller, whom he met at the age of 17 in a dance club. They married at 20 and enjoyed a loving partnership that lasted for 56 years, during which they created countless memories together.

Known for his respectfulness and kindness, Botiller often expressed gratitude for the strong women in his life, including his mother and his beloved companion, Lotte Lagraff.
