Winners Crowned at Babe Ruth Sultan of Swat Home Run Derby

The second annual Babe Ruth Sultan of Swat Home Run Derby took place at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre on October 11, 2023, drawing baseball enthusiasts eager to celebrate the sport’s rich history. In the Men’s Derby, Brian Hontz from Wilkes-Barre emerged victorious, claiming both the coveted “Sultan of Swat” trophy for the longest home run and the “Bambino” trophy for hitting the most home runs.
