Community Celebrates 5-Year-Old’s Return After 975 Days Hospitalized

The community of Saratoga Springs, Utah, celebrated the remarkable return of 5-year-old Sienna Barton, who came home after spending nearly 1,000 days in the hospital. Sienna’s story began with significant medical challenges. Born with half a heart, she underwent multiple surgeries during her early childhood, including a prolonged period on a mechanical heart while waiting for a transplant. In June 2025, the family received life-changing news from Texas: doctors had found a suitable donor heart for Sienna. “Our daughter is only alive today because another family chose donation,” said her father, Fano Barton.
