Top Emergency Medicine Experts Gather for ACEP25 in Salt Lake City

The 2025 American College of Emergency Physicians Scientific Assembly, commonly referred to as ACEP25, is set to take place in downtown Salt Lake City from September 7 to 10, 2025. This major conference is anticipated to draw more than 700 emergency medicine physicians, nurses, trauma leaders, and researchers from around the globe. As the largest gathering of its kind for emergency medicine professionals, ACEP25 will showcase the latest advancements and innovations in the field.
The event will prominently feature 10 research studies conducted by clinicians, nurses, and scientists from Intermountain Health. These studies aim to highlight groundbreaking initiatives in emergency medicine and trauma care. Dr. Troy Madsen, an emergency physician at Intermountain Park City Hospital and a key figure in organizing the conference, emphasized the significance of this gathering for both professionals and the local community.
“Bringing the nation’s leading emergency medicine providers to Salt Lake City presents a unique opportunity to showcase the incredible work and innovation occurring in our community,” Dr. Madsen stated. He noted that attendees will explore advancements in emergency medicine and their implications for patient care and the community at large.
In addition to focusing on new technologies and methodologies in emergency care, the conference will address how local communities can better utilize emergency department services. Discussions will include which types of care are best delivered in emergency settings versus alternative facilities such as clinics and urgent care centers.
The ACEP25 assembly aims to foster collaboration among top emergency medicine clinicians, academicians, and administrators, all with the shared goal of enhancing the quality of emergency care. As such, it serves not only as a platform for sharing knowledge but also as a catalyst for ongoing improvements in emergency response and trauma care across the nation.
This assembly represents a critical moment for emergency medicine, as practitioners gather to exchange ideas, collaborate on research, and ultimately, improve patient outcomes in emergency settings. The commitment to advancing the field is underscored by the assembly’s focus on practical solutions and community engagement.
Overall, ACEP25 promises to be a landmark event that not only highlights the latest research but also strengthens the foundation of emergency medicine for the future.
