Iola Area Symphony Orchestra Begins Rehearsals for Spring Concert

The Iola Area Symphony Orchestra has officially commenced rehearsals for its upcoming spring concert set for May 2, 2024. Musicians gathered for their first session on Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the band room at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center, where they will engage in two-hour practices each week leading up to the performance.

The orchestra’s conductor for this season is Patrick Matrazzo, a music instructor at Allen Community College. Matrazzo has a wealth of experience in guiding orchestral performances and is expected to bring vibrant energy to the rehearsals.
