Israel Launches Eight Tech Pilots to Enhance Rehabilitation for War Injuries

The Israel Innovation Authority, the Ministry of Health, and the Class Actions Foundation have announced the launch of eight new technology pilots aimed at improving physical rehabilitation for casualties of the recent “Iron Swords” War. This initiative responds to the increased number of injuries, particularly motor, sensory, auditory, and physiological, observed in the aftermath of the conflict.

These pilots will implement advanced, data-driven solutions across nine key hospitals and health centers in Israel. The goal is to create a comprehensive rehabilitation infrastructure that is not only accessible and personalized but also scalable for potential use in other countries.

Retired Judge Yaakov Shinman, Chairman of the Class Actions Foundation, stated that this collaboration aims to “promote technological rehabilitation solutions for the benefit of war casualties.” The initiative is designed to align with court directives focused on advancing innovation in rehabilitation practices.

The selected technologies will be rolled out in prominent institutions, including Sheba Medical Center, Soroka Medical Center, Hadassah University Medical Center, and Loewenstein Hospital.
