West Allis Senior Center Launches Exciting ‘Winter Week’ Events
The West Allis Senior Center is set to host a vibrant week-long celebration from January 18 to 24, 2026, inviting community members to engage in a variety of activities. Dubbed “Winter Week,” the event promises an exciting lineup, including bingo sessions and an evening dedicated to showcasing local artists, according to the City of West Allis.
On January 20, 2026, the festivities will commence with “Blankets & Bingo,” scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m.. This event welcomes participants of all ages, offering the chance to win winter-themed prizes. Among the prizes are cozy blankets, which are handmade by members of the Senior Center. The city’s announcement highlights the inclusive nature of this event, making it accessible to everyone.
As evening approaches, the Senior Center will transform into an artistic venue for “Gallery Night,” taking place from 6 to 8 p.m.. This event will feature the works of talented artists from the Senior Center, allowing attendees to view their creations and engage directly with the artists. Visitors can also purchase artwork, making it a unique opportunity to support local talent. Complimentary hot apple cider and light refreshments will be served, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the evening.
