Springfield Police and Students Unite for Community Hide and Seek

Last Thursday, students at Springfield High School participated in a unique community event as the Springfield Township Police Department engaged them in an energetic game of Hide and Seek. More than 50 students bundled up against the chilly weather to enjoy a night of fun and connection on school grounds.

The Hide and Seek event has become a cherished tradition, fostering camaraderie between local law enforcement and the youth. Community support played a vital role, with local businesses stepping up to enhance the experience. DeCheco’s Pizza on Canton Road generously provided pizza for all participants, ensuring everyone had the energy needed for the evening’s activities. Additionally, Walmart #1911 on South Arlington Road donated prizes, rewarding the most stealthy participants. One lucky winner walked away with a new television, Beats ear pods, and wireless speakers, showcasing the event’s spirit of friendly competition.

The success of the evening was attributed to the collaborative efforts of various individuals and organizations.
