Police Officers Serve Up Support for Special Olympics Athletes

Community spirit shines brightly as the Gatlinburg Police Department and the Pigeon Forge Police Department prepare to participate in the annual Special Olympics Tip-A-Cop event. Scheduled for March 5, 2024, at the Texas Roadhouse in Pigeon Forge, officers will don aprons instead of handcuffs to support athletes through community fundraising efforts.

In a collaborative initiative, the police departments will work alongside servers at the popular restaurant.
