The vision for Gallery Coffee Roasters originated from Canevari’s dual interests in coffee and outdoor photography. With over 15 years of experience in the coffee industry, he aimed to create a space that combined both passions. “I worked in coffee for years, and the end goal has always been to own my own place,” he explained. His journey began with home roasting using popcorn air poppers, eventually leading to the professional roaster used in the café today.

The café’s menu features a diverse selection of beverages, from classic black coffee to specialty drinks like pumpkin-spiced lattes and chai lattes. “If you like coffee, cappuccinos are a good place to start,” Canevari remarked. Additionally, the café partners with Soul With Milk, a local bakery, to offer freshly baked goods to complement their coffee selections.

Located at 420 First St. in Woodland, Gallery Coffee Roasters operates daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Canevari is already looking ahead to the future, with plans to expand the café’s Coffee Club and potentially acquire a larger location. “Expanding our Coffee Club and business-to-business wholesale accounts is a top priority for us in the near future,” he stated. “I was not expecting to outgrow our current space so quickly, but here we are.”

He expressed appreciation for the community’s ongoing support since the café’s inception. “We wouldn’t be here without everybody who comes in and supports us every day,” Canevari said. “It’s a really special place, and we’re lucky to be here and be a part of everything.”
