Dorchester Garden Club Honors Outstanding Members at Annual Picnic

The Dorchester Garden Club celebrated its annual picnic and awards presentation in June, hosted at the residence of club member Ciindy Burns in Cambridge. During the ceremony, the highly regarded Perennial Bloom Award was awarded to Patti Hopkins, acknowledging her significant efforts in fostering the club’s growth. Additionally, Hopkins claimed first place in the Division I Top Horticultural Competition, earning the Lednum Cup for her outstanding contributions.

In the design category, Mari Stanley received top honors in the Division II Top Design Competition, securing the prestigious Tawes Bowl. The recognition of these members reflects the high standards and commitment present within the club.
