Pet owners in Argyle, Texas, will have the opportunity to receive free and low-cost vaccinations for their pets this weekend. On Saturday, October 4, 2023, the **Denton Animal Support Foundation**, **Humane Tomorrow**, and the **Texas Coalition for Animal Protection** are collaborating to host a vaccination clinic. The event is scheduled from 10:00 to 12:00 at Humane Tomorrow, located at 1961 E. Hickory Hill Road.

Founded in 2006, the **Denton Animal Support Foundation** is dedicated to promoting humane treatment for animals, reducing pet homelessness, and facilitating adoptions for shelter pets. According to the foundation’s CEO, **Dena Guyette**, the organization is eager to provide expanded services this year. “We are excited to expand our vaccine clinic offerings this year with the addition of a mobile clinic in Argyle through a new partnership with Humane Tomorrow,” Guyette stated.

The clinic will provide free rabies vaccinations and microchips for pets belonging to residents of Denton County. In addition to these services, various other vaccines will also be available. Guyette emphasized the importance of this collaboration, saying, “Together with our ongoing collaboration with the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection, this added clinic allows us to reach even more pets and families. By making core vaccines and microchips more accessible, we’re helping protect pets while reducing the number of lost, abandoned, and unvaccinated animals in Denton County.”

Pet owners attending the clinic do not need to schedule an appointment. Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For safety reasons, dogs should be leashed, and cats must be transported in carriers.

This initiative represents a significant effort to enhance pet health and well-being in the local community, illustrating the commitment of these organizations to supporting animal welfare. Such events not only provide essential services but also foster a sense of community among pet owners.

For more information about this clinic and other services, pet owners are encouraged to contact the organizing foundations directly.
