Residents of Amity and Exeter townships, along with Birdsboro, have the opportunity to support local children this holiday season by donating toys through the Toys for Tots program. Tri-County Chiropractic of Douglassville has opened its doors as a designated drop-off point, accepting new, unwrapped toys until December 5, 2023. Located at 990 E. Ben Franklin Highway, also known as Route 422, the practice aims to make the collection process convenient for community members.

The Toys for Tots initiative, managed by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, has been spreading joy to children across the United States since its inception in 1947. Dr. Melissa Kisla, owner of Tri-County Chiropractic, expressed her enthusiasm for participating in this charitable effort. “The holidays are a time for giving, and we want to do our part to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community,” she stated.

Community Engagement and Support

The chiropractic office is accepting toy donations daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this festive period, community members are encouraged to contribute items suitable for children of all ages. The initiative not only supports local families but also fosters a sense of unity and generosity within the community.

Dr. Kisla emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating, “We’re excited to be part of such a meaningful cause.” The office’s commitment to the Toys for Tots program reflects a broader effort to enhance the holiday experience for children who may otherwise go without gifts.

As the deadline approaches, Tri-County Chiropractic invites everyone to join in this effort to deliver hope and happiness to those in need. Each toy collected will contribute to the mission of Toys for Tots, ensuring that children in the area receive a gift this holiday season.

With the community’s support, Tri-County Chiropractic aims to make a significant impact, reinforcing the spirit of giving that defines the holiday season. Individuals interested in participating can drop off their donations at the practice, creating a ripple effect of kindness and generosity throughout the region.
