Recent English language arts assessment results reveal that three schools in Central New York achieved impressive proficiency rates, with over 80% of their students testing proficient. The schools—Enders Road Elementary and Eagle Hill Middle in Fayetteville-Manlius, along with Tecumseh Elementary in Jamesville-DeWitt—stood out among more than 200 institutions in the region.

According to the New York State Department of Education, the proficiency rates for the 2024-2025 academic year were as follows: Enders Road at 83%, Eagle Hill at 82%, and Tecumseh at 80%.
