‘The Thrill of the Fight 2’ Launches with New Features and Modes
Halfbrick Studios and series creator Ian Fitz have officially launched The Thrill of the Fight 2 on the Quest platform, exiting early access and introducing a variety of new features, including a single-player campaign. Originally available in early access since late 2024, this latest installment marks a significant development for the franchise, most notably incorporating online multiplayer for the first time.
With the game now fully launched, players can engage in an extensive single-player career mode. This new feature allows participants to start as an amateur and work their way up to compete for gold. Players can unlock various gear and enhance their fighter’s abilities through training minigames. The single-player experience is designed to provide depth and engagement, making it a key addition to the title.
In addition to the campaign, the game retains its popular multiplayer matches, offering players the chance to test their skills against others online. Halfbrick Studios emphasizes that this is just the beginning, with future updates planned to enhance the game’s realism and overall experience. The developers encourage players to follow the game’s roadmap to stay informed about upcoming content.
For those who prefer to practice or hone their skills, the free play mode offers the ability to spar against an AI opponent. Players can customize their experience by selecting difficulty levels, round numbers, and round lengths, making it easier to prepare for online competition while waiting in multiplayer queues.
Available for $20, The Thrill of the Fight 2 can be purchased on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and above devices.
