Las Cruces Schedules Online Services Shutdown for Upgrades
Residents of Las Cruces will experience a temporary shutdown of online services due to scheduled system upgrades. This maintenance work is set to begin on Thursday, November 6, 2023, at 16:00 and will last until early morning on Monday, November 10, 2023, at 08:00. The City of Las Cruces announced that several online services frequently used by residents will be disrupted during this period.
The affected services include Online Bill Pay, Vendor Access, and the Ask Las Cruces platform. Users should prepare for a lack of access to these digital services as the city’s IT infrastructure undergoes necessary improvements. Additionally, the Cashiering service will also conclude its operations at the same time on November 6, limiting in-person transactions.
For those needing to make utility payments in person, there will be limited availability on Friday, November 7. Residents must bring their account information, as cashiers will not have access to customer details during the upgrade. To accommodate these transactions, officials will issue handwritten receipts for any face-to-face payments made.
Ensuring a Smooth Transition
City officials have assured residents that a dedicated team will work diligently to restore services by the promised time of 08:00 on November 10. The upgrades are part of an ongoing effort to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the city’s digital services.
The City of Las Cruces emphasizes the importance of these upgrades for improving overall service delivery and urges residents to plan accordingly. Those who rely on online services may need to seek alternative solutions during the downtime.
As the city prepares for this significant upgrade, residents are encouraged to stay informed about any additional updates regarding the restoration of services.
