Belkin Launches Wired Earbuds and Chargers at IFA 2025

At the IFA 2025 technology trade show, Belkin introduced a series of innovative products, including the much-anticipated SoundForm USB-C Wired Earbuds featuring Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). The company also showcased the UltraCharge Magnetic Charger 25W and the BoostCharge Retractable Car Charger 75W, highlighting a commitment to enhancing user experience with practical charging solutions.
The SoundForm USB-C Wired Earbuds have sparked interest among consumers, reflecting a resurgence of wired audio technology. The earbuds, priced at $34.99, feature a robust design with a water- and sweat-resistant rating. They are equipped with 12mm drivers, which Belkin claims deliver “rich sound and deep bass.” While the audio quality is commendable, offering a balanced sound profile, the ANC capability does not fully rival that of the AirPods Pro 2. However, they perform adequately in reducing background noise, particularly in environments with mid-range sounds.
One of the standout features of these earbuds is their use of a USB-C connector instead of a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. This choice allows for ANC functionality but limits compatibility with some devices. Belkin aims to mitigate concerns about the longevity of the USB-C connection, with company representative Jen Wei noting that they rarely receive complaints regarding the durability of their USB-C plugs.
Charging Solutions to Keep Your Devices Powered
Alongside the earbuds, Belkin revealed the UltraCharge Magnetic Charger 25W, designed to support the Qi2.2 charging standard. This charger features a built-in heatsink for better heat management during operation. It will be available in November 2025 for $39.95. The product manager, Laurelin Stuart-Smith, explained that the charger’s design includes a ring-shaped kickstand, providing stability for devices while charging.
Additionally, the BoostCharge Retractable Car Charger 75W was introduced, featuring an integrated USB-C cable that extends 75 centimeters (approximately 2.5 feet). This charger also includes two ports, one USB-A and one USB-C, and optimizes power delivery when multiple devices are connected. Priced at $29.99, the retractable mechanism has generated skepticism due to past experiences with similar products, but initial impressions indicate a smooth and reliable operation.
Overall, Belkin’s announcements at IFA 2025 suggest a strategic focus on combining functionality with user-friendly designs. As the market for wired audio and charging solutions evolves, Belkin positions itself to cater to consumers seeking reliable and innovative technology.
