Geoffrey DeCarlo, aged 66, passed away on February 4, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Born on November 17, 1959, in New York, NY, he was the son of Hugo DeCarlo and Mildred DeCarlo (nee Hymanson). Geoffrey’s life was marked by his deep connections with family and friends, along with a successful career in food sales.

In 1991, Geoffrey married Rachel DeCarlo (nee Muscato) and together they settled in Oak Ridge, N.J., where they raised their two sons, Thomas DeCarlo and Michael DeCarlo. Known as a people person, Geoffrey thrived in sales, where he built a reputation for his engaging personality and dedication to customer service. Outside of work, he was a passionate car enthusiast and a devoted cat lover, but his greatest joy came from being with his family.

Geoffrey’s warmth and selflessness made a significant impact on those around him. He was known for lighting up any room he entered, always prioritizing the well-being of his loved ones. He is survived by his father, Hugo DeCarlo, and his wife Christine, as well as his siblings: Gregg DeCarlo and his wife Mary Lynn, Cara DiCarlo Petrou and her husband Nick, and Erik DiCarlo. He was predeceased by his mother, Mildred, in 2002, and his wife, Rachel, in 2022.

Memorial Service Details

A memorial visitation is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with Moments of Reflection taking place at 3:30 PM. This event will be held at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, located at 187 La Rue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
