Rotary Club of Indianola Launches Online Raffle for Grills
The Rotary Club of Indianola is set to hold an online raffle offering three grills, purchased from McCoy True Value. Participants can buy tickets for $25, with each ticket providing an entry into the drawing for one of the grills. The club is in the process of finalizing the details for the online ticket sales.
Proceeds from this raffle will support a significant cause. According to Terry Pauling, President of the Rotary Club, funds raised will contribute to the Polio Plus initiative, which has been working since 1985 to eliminate polio worldwide. Pauling highlighted the urgency of this effort, noting that two countries still face challenges with active polio virus. He emphasized the disease’s devastating impact on children, affecting their abilities and muscles necessary for daily life.
The online raffle represents an engaging way for community members to contribute to a global health initiative while potentially winning a valuable item. More details on the raffle process will be available soon, and interested individuals can look forward to the opportunity to support a critical global health cause.
For those wishing to learn more about the Rotary Club’s efforts and the upcoming raffle, a full interview with Pauling will air next week on Let’s Talk Indianola. This event not only highlights the club’s commitment to philanthropy but also fosters community involvement in addressing pressing health issues.
