PJ Library Celebrates Summer’s End with Family Splash Bash

On August 10, 2023, PJ Library and the Jewish Federation of Broward County hosted a vibrant end-of-summer celebration at the David Posnack JCC Aquatic Center in Davie. Families gathered for a day filled with water games, a splash pad, and pool activities, creating lasting memories as they bid farewell to summer. Attendees also enjoyed giveaways, swag bags, and a variety of cool treats and snacks.

The event marked a significant moment for the Jewish Federation of Broward County, which recently announced it will now provide free PJ Library books to all families with children aged 0-12. With additional funding secured, the federation aims to expand access to these resources, ensuring that local families can receive books without waiting lists or restrictions. As the foundation highlighted, “now families can have a set of books at home and at Bubbe’s!”
