Motorcycling Santas Ride for Children’s Hospice in Charity Event

Motorcycling Santas are gearing up for their annual charity event, departing from Taunton today to support Children’s Hospice South West. The festive convoy of bikers, dressed in red, will leave at 10:00 AM and is expected to arrive at Little Bridge House in Fremington by approximately 2:30 PM. This initiative aims to raise funds for the hospice, which provides vital support to children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Riders from across the regions, including Devon, Somerset, Cornwall, Dorset, Avon, and even parts of Wales and Gloucestershire, will participate in the event. The procession will feature numerous festive characters, emphasizing the community spirit of the season.

At 12:00 PM, the bikers will make a scheduled stop in the centre of South Molton for an hour to join the Mayor’s Fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West. This gathering will include carol singing, market stalls, and a Christmas Pannier Market, offering a variety of activities for attendees. The event serves not only as a fundraiser but also as a celebration of community and holiday cheer.

The convoy will also take a brief pause at Venn Valley Winery, located near Landkey, around 1:20 PM. This stop will provide an additional opportunity for participants and spectators to engage with the event and support the cause.
