Meghan Markle recently shared a rare peek inside her and Prince Harry’s luxurious $14.65 million mansion located in Montecito, California. The Duchess of Sussex posted a video on her Instagram Story, showcasing a polished living room where her beagle, Mamma Mia, was comfortably resting on a stylish boucle chair.

The living room decor features a neutral pillow, a sheepskin-style throw, and a brown and cream Hermès blanket, with similar pieces from the French fashion house priced at approximately $2,000. Beside the chair, a sleek black side table held an eye-catching arrangement of wildflowers, which included delicate blooms such as delphinium, nigella, and veronica. In her caption, Markle added, “With garden roses and Queen Anne’s lace (and a very sleepy Mia),” expressing her delight in the floral display.

Inside the Sussex Mansion

The arrangement was presented in a white stone vase adorned with the logo of Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever. According to People, this unique vase was specifically created for her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.” The room’s ambiance was further enhanced by dark brown wood flooring and French doors that opened onto an inviting outdoor patio, which overlooks a lush garden. The serene setting was accompanied by the sounds of chirping birds and soft jazz music in the background.

Markle, aged 44, and Harry, 41, purchased their impressive property in 2020 after stepping back from royal duties. They now live in the mansion with their two children, Prince Archie, who is six years old, and Princess Lilibet, aged four. While the couple has maintained a level of privacy regarding the interior of their home, they have occasionally provided glimpses through various media appearances.

Markle’s home office was previously featured in a video promoting her 40×40 initiative in 2021, showcasing a hand-crafted pine wood Pottery Barn dining table, valued at $1,699, serving as her desk. Additionally, a parlor area, filled with contemporary art, coffee table books, and a Diptyque candle, made an appearance in a video for “America’s Got Talent” in 2020.

The Expansive Property

The Sussexes’ estate includes nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a tea house, and a rose garden, complemented by century-old olive trees. The property also features a two-bedroom guest house and a children’s cottage, enhancing its appeal for family living.

Despite their celebrity status, Markle and Harry continue to prioritize their privacy, opting to film significant projects in separate locations. For instance, they filmed their Netflix docuseries “Meghan & Harry” in another California residence and chose to set their cooking show on a dedicated set, ensuring their home remains a sanctuary away from the public eye.
