On August 13, 2025, All Saints Episcopal Church in Loveland will host a special Wednesday Walk at its labyrinth, providing a reflective space for individuals seeking solace. The event aims to create an environment of intentional walking where participants can embrace their feelings, whether they are burdened by personal struggles or the weight of global issues. This gathering is designed to foster mindfulness and community connection.

Starting at 6 p.m., attendees will first receive a warm welcome and a centering prompt before engaging in quiet contemplation. Participants can choose to walk, rest, or simply be present in the sacred space of the labyrinth. The evening will conclude with a shared blessing, inviting all to leave with a sense of renewal and peace. Mary Thoma, who can be contacted at [email protected] or by calling the church office at 970-667-0303, encourages everyone to come as they are, regardless of their current emotional state.

Local Youth Engage in Service Through Week of Hope

In a demonstration of commitment to community service, LoveFirst Community concluded its annual Week of Hope initiative, which involved more than 306 teenagers and their leaders from church youth groups. This summer program, organized by Group Mission Trips, saw participants from 14 states including Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Carolina, coming together to serve the Loveland area.

During the event, these young volunteers collaborated with 16 local organizations, including Brigit’s Bounty, Catholic Charities, and Habitat for Humanity, among others. Their efforts resulted in an impressive total of approximately 9,200 hours dedicated to community service, all while covering their own expenses. The youths engaged in various projects designed to uplift and assist local residents.

Lee Sparks, the Mission Team Leader at LoveFirst Community, highlighted the impact of this initiative, stating, “This annual summer mission is a great way for youth to show love first in their actions and words. These youth and the churches who support them have given Loveland much-needed services this summer.” Participants worshipped and resided at the LoveFirst Community center at 2000 N. Lincoln Ave. after their daily service activities, fostering a sense of unity and purpose.
