Buckeye Appoints Jared W. Askelson as Deputy City Manager

The City of Buckeye has appointed Jared W. Askelson as its new Deputy City Manager following a comprehensive national search. Askelson, who has previously served as the Finance Director in Goodyear, will officially start his new role on November 10, 2023.

Askelson is no stranger to the Arizona municipal landscape, bringing over 25 years of experience in various governmental roles. His career has included significant responsibilities in strategic planning, investment management, and financial reporting. Additionally, he has been involved in updating city codes and managing utility billing processes.
