Beloved Virginia V. Jackson Passes Away at 73, Leaving a Legacy

Virginia V. Jackson, a cherished member of the Portsmouth community, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 73. Her passing has left a profound impact on her family and friends, as she is remembered for her warmth and kindness.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Jan Jackson, her son, Kermit John Jackson, and her mother, Katherine Kontopanos.
