Comprehensive Cancer Center Set to Open in Las Vegas Medical District
A new cancer treatment center is set to open in the Las Vegas Medical District in 2026, as announced by Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada. The flagship facility will be located at the Molasky Corporate Center, positioned at 100 N. City Parkway. Spanning approximately 15,000 square feet, the center is expected to welcome patients starting in April 2026.
The center will provide a range of services, including medical oncology, diagnostic PET and CT imaging, genetic counseling, and access to clinical research programs. According to the announcement from Comprehensive Cancer Centers, the new facility will enhance local healthcare offerings and create various job opportunities across clinical, administrative, and support roles.
Enhancing Patient-Centered Care
Dr. Rupesh J. Parikh, the practice president and a medical oncologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers, emphasized the center’s commitment to patient-centered care. “This new facility reflects our ongoing investment in patient-centered innovation and our belief that people heal best when care is both advanced and accessible,” Dr. Parikh stated. He added that the expansion into the Las Vegas Medical District allows for better access to cutting-edge treatments and state-of-the-art diagnostics for local patients.
The new center aims to strengthen collaborations with nearby hospitals and the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The facility plans to engage with medical and nursing students from UNLV, as well as from Nevada State University, Touro University, and Roseman University of Health Sciences. This initiative aligns with Comprehensive’s mission to foster educational opportunities in the healthcare sector.
Currently, Comprehensive Cancer Centers operates 12 treatment centers across the Las Vegas Valley, providing essential services to the local community. The introduction of this flagship facility represents a significant step towards enhancing cancer care in the region.
As the opening date approaches, local residents can look forward to increased access to advanced cancer treatments and support services, all within their community. For further information, please contact Emerson Drewes at [email protected] or follow @EmersonDrewes on social media.
