Insulin Pump Support Group Meeting Scheduled

The Insulin Pump Support Group will convene on March 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Abington Community Library. The featured guest speaker, Emily Gelatt, brings her professional expertise to help attendees navigate insurance and Medicare benefits. This meeting is an opportunity for individuals managing diabetes to gain insights and support from peers and professionals.

Bingo Fundraiser Offers Exciting Prizes

A bingo fundraiser organized by Trinity Episcopal Church will take place on March 22, 2026. The event will be held at 58 River St., with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. and games commencing at 2:30 p.m.. Tickets are available for $25 and include ten regular games, each with a prize of $100. Participants also have the chance to win a grand prize of $1,000. Additional activities include a 50/50 raffle, a snack bar, and door prizes. Tickets can be purchased during the week from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or via the church’s website.

Takeout Dinner to Support Local Church

On March 20, 2026, St. Michael’s Orthodox Church will offer a takeout-only baked fish dinner for $15. The meal features baked sole stuffed with scallops and crab, accompanied by potatoes, vegetables, applesauce, a roll with butter, and dessert. Wine Event to Benefit Local Initiatives

The A Toast to Tomorrow wine event, benefiting Scranton Tomorrow, will take place on March 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Colonnade, located at 401 Jefferson Ave. in Scranton. Attendees must be at least 21 years old to participate. The evening will feature wine pairings curated by Fred Magnotta, along with food pairings from the Colonnade and POSH Events. Guests can also enjoy a wine pull, basket raffle, and more. Tickets are currently on sale for $45 per person and can be purchased through the Scranton Tomorrow website.
