The Children’s Museum of Pooler (CMOP) has announced its second annual Nerf Battle fundraiser, set to take place on September 13, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the West Chatham YMCA in Pooler, Georgia. This event promises to be an engaging experience for participants of all ages while raising crucial funds for both CMOP and the YMCA.
Executive Director of CMOP, Crystal Daniels, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “Our first Nerf Battle was such a blast, and we can’t wait to bring it back even bigger and better this year.” She emphasized the event’s dual purpose of providing fun and fostering community spirit, all while supporting educational initiatives.
Event Highlights and Activities
The Nerf Battle will feature a variety of exciting activities beyond the competitive shooting games. Attendees can expect music, food, target practice, water slides, a bounce house, and a dedicated Water War Zone. Community involvement is a key component, with local vendors present to offer resources and giveaways, further enhancing the experience for families.
In addition to the fun-filled activities, local businesses have generously contributed raffle items and prizes, increasing the chances of winning for participants. The funds raised during the event will directly support CMOP’s mission to provide hands-on learning experiences for children of all ages and abilities, as well as the West Chatham YMCA’s programs aimed at fostering development and community engagement.
How to Participate
Those interested in participating can register online, with options available for individuals and families. The event caters to a wide age range, making it an ideal outing for families looking to enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie and excitement.
The CMOP looks forward to welcoming the community for what promises to be a memorable day filled with action and entertainment. As the date approaches, anticipation grows for another successful Nerf Battle that not only entertains but also enriches the lives of children in Pooler.
