Ahn debuted in the film “The Twilight Train” in 1957 and became a prominent figure in the South Korean film industry, appearing in approximately 70 films as a child actor. After a brief hiatus to pursue a conventional life, he returned to cinema, achieving significant acclaim in the 1980s and 1990s with films like “Good, Windy Days.” His legacy as one of the country’s most beloved actors is firmly established.
