Florida State University Celebrates Graduation of 2,855 Students

Florida State University (FSU) celebrated the graduation of 2,855 students during its summer commencement ceremonies held on August 4, 2025. The event marked a significant milestone for the university, showcasing the achievements of its graduates across various disciplines.
The ceremony featured the awarding of 1,692 bachelor’s degrees, 881 master’s and specialist degrees, and 183 doctoral degrees. Additionally, the university conferred 4 Juris Doctor degrees, 93 Juris Master’s degrees, and 2 LLM degrees. This diverse range of degrees reflects FSU’s extensive academic programs and commitment to education.
Approximately 1,850 graduates participated in the three ceremonies held on that Friday. Family, friends, and faculty gathered at the university’s campus in Tallahassee to celebrate the accomplishments of these students.
