Bettendorf School District Announces Key Personnel Changes for 2025-26

The Bettendorf Community School District has made significant personnel changes as part of its agenda during the board meeting on September 25, 2023. The meeting took place at the Administration Center, located at 3311 18th St., Bettendorf. Notably, several new hires have been approved, effective for the 2025-26 academic year.

Among the appointments is Renee Fluhr-Callahan, who will serve as the High School Co-Student Council Sponsor with a salary of $342. She is taking over the position from Kathryn Hawley. In addition, Keaton Frye has been appointed as the Assistant Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Bettendorf High School, replacing Jennifer Shay with a salary of $4,238.

The district also approved the hiring of Erica Heckroth as the Student Council Sponsor at the middle school level, with a salary of $684. She will take over from Madison McDonald. Furthermore, Miranda Madesian will join the Student Success Team at Grant Wood Elementary, earning $1,000 as she replaces Hannah Dillon.

In a move aimed at strengthening leadership within the district, Caitlin McMeen will become the 3rd Grade District Team Leader, also replacing Hannah Dillon for a salary of $1,000. Additionally, Brandon Tolle has been appointed as the Assistant Technical Director (Master Carpenter) at Bettendorf High School, receiving a salary of $4,238 as he succeeds Joseph Shoemaker.
