Area Students Shine on Dean’s and President’s Lists for Fall 2025

Students from various local high schools have achieved academic excellence this past semester, being recognized on the dean’s and president’s lists of their respective universities. This recognition highlights their hard work and dedication to their studies during the Fall 2025 semester.

St. Cloud State University Recognitions

At St. Cloud State University, several students from the area have been named to the dean’s list for achieving a grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The students honored include Josiah Bakke, Calla Gieser, Ashlee Roberts, and Ava Warner from Bemidji, along with Larissa Morris from Red Lake.

Valley City State University Honors

In North Dakota, Valley City State University recognized local students with placements on its dean’s list and president’s list. The president’s list includes students who completed 12 semester hours or more with a perfect 4.0 GPA. The following students were acknowledged: Alex Lester and Tiffany Gerbracht from Akeley and Bagley, respectively, made the president’s list, while Georgia Thompson from Bemidji earned a spot on the dean’s list for achieving a GPA of at least 3.50.

Winona State University Achievements

Finally, Winona State University in Winona also announced its dean’s list for students who maintained a minimum GPA of 3.5 while enrolled full-time. The local students recognized include Megan Cobb and Jack Hildenbrand from Bemidji, as well as Allie Lillquist from Laporte.
