Albert Lea Schools Host Community Meetings on Future Planning

The Albert Lea Area Schools district will hold two community meetings in January to discuss the future direction of the school district. These meetings are scheduled for noon on January 8 and at 6 p.m. on January 12. Both events will take place at Events on Broadway, located at 201 S. Broadway.

The purpose of these meetings is to provide valuable information to community members regarding several key issues. Participants will learn about current district facilities, their usage, and how enrollment trends are influencing building capacity. Additionally, the discussions will cover the impacts of enrollment on district planning and the associated budgetary considerations that the district must address.
