Eleanor J. Owen, 93, Remembered by Family After Peaceful Passing

Eleanor Jean Owen, aged 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Baxter, Minnesota, on September 19, 2025. Surrounded by family, her final moments were filled with love and support from her loved ones.

Eleanor is survived by her three sons, Kelly Owen (and his partner, Karrie), Darin Owen (and his partner, Cathy), along with her daughters Carla Owen, Karen Owen, and Carolyn Owen. She was a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren: Kyle, Khloe, Devin, and Magnus. Eleanor’s family will carry her memory with them as they navigate life without her presence.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Jack Owen, her parents, Adolph and Tilda, seven brothers, two sisters, and her son Stuart Owen. Additionally, her granddaughter Kaylyn also passed away before her.

Arrangements for Eleanor’s memorial services are being handled by Halvorson Taylor. A family memorial service is planned for a future date, allowing relatives and friends to come together in her memory and celebrate her life.
