Cleveland Company Launches Humorous T-Shirt Amid Browns’ Struggles

A Cleveland-based apparel company has launched a new T-shirt design that humorously addresses the ongoing struggles of the Cleveland Browns, who have the fewest wins of any NFL team since their return to the league in 1999. The “Cleveland Bro ns” T-shirt, released by GV Art + Design, features the word “Browns” with the letter “W” intentionally omitted, symbolizing the team’s long history of losses.
According to statistics from StatMuse, the Browns have recorded only 142 wins since their re-establishment, significantly fewer than the Detroit Lions (170 wins) and Las Vegas Raiders (171 wins). The T-shirt’s product description reflects the sentiment of many fans: “It has been nothing but struggles and frustration since 1999, but we are the best fans in the nation, continually supporting our team even through the toughest seasons.”
Co-founder of GV Art + Design, Greg Vlosich, shared that the feedback from fans regarding the new design has been overwhelmingly positive. “It’s been nothing but a good response,” Vlosich said. “People are like, ‘This is going to replace my Factory of Sadness shirt.’ So it’s been really cool and the response has been great.”
While the Browns have managed to secure one victory this season, they currently face a challenging record of 1-5, with their latest defeat being a 23-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This loss marked the Browns’ 22nd consecutive defeat at Heinz Field, further highlighting the team’s difficulties.
Despite the playful jab at the Browns’ performance, Vlosich emphasized that GV Art + Design aims to keep the tone positive. The shirt includes the phrase “See you next Sunday,” reflecting the unwavering support fans have for the team. “We’re die-hard; we’re going to be there,” he added. “The stadium is going to be sold out, and fans want it so bad. I feel like we deserve better than what we’ve been getting for however many years.”
The “Cleveland Bro ns” T-shirt is priced at $30 and is available in sizes ranging from x-small to 4XL. It can currently be purchased online, with plans for physical sales at GV Art + Design’s three locations in Lakewood, Avon, and Willoughby starting this weekend.
Vlosich concluded by stating, “We design for the fans as fans ourselves. It’s about giving an outlet for Cleveland fans to express themselves, and I feel that’s what this shirt does. At the end of the day, we’ll see you Sunday because we’re Browns fans, and that’s what we do. But hopefully, we turn it around sooner than later.”
