Socorro ISD Hosts 3rd Annual Dia De Los Muertos Health Expo

The Socorro Independent School District (ISD) is set to host its 3rd Annual Dia De Los Muertos Health Expo and 5K Run on November 1, 2023. This event will take place at the Student Activities Complex on Joe Battle Boulevard in El Paso, Texas, from 08:00 to 11:00. Aimed at promoting a culture of wellness, the expo will engage employees and their families in various health-focused activities.

Attendees can look forward to a range of offerings designed to enhance well-being. The event will feature interactive booths, free health screenings, and live fitness classes. Additionally, participants will have access to flu shots, wellness resources, a dedicated Kids Zone, and opportunities to win prizes through raffles.

For those interested in physical activity, the 5K run will kick off at 08:30, while a more leisurely one-mile walk will also be available. Check-in for participants will start at 07:20 and close at 08:15, ensuring a smooth start to the day’s activities.
