Over 200 Students Collaborate on Public Policy at Trinity University

More than 200 high school students from the U.S. and Mexico convened at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, for an immersive public policy program held from June 5 to June 9, 2023. This initiative aimed to equip young leaders with practical skills and knowledge to address pressing societal challenges.
The program included workshops, discussions, and collaborative projects, allowing students to engage directly with policy-making processes. Participants had the opportunity to work alongside university faculty and local leaders, gaining insights into the complexities of governance and civic engagement.
Hands-On Learning Experience
Throughout the week, students participated in various activities designed to enhance their understanding of public policy. They tackled real-world issues, developing proposals and solutions for community challenges.
