DEEPX Secures Two CES 2026 Innovation Awards, Powers ALPON X5
Global AI semiconductor firm DEEPX has achieved a significant milestone by winning two prestigious CES 2026 Innovation Awards. The company’s DX-M1 chip powers the ALPON X5, an AI gateway developed by Sixfab, which garnered the Best of Innovation award at the event. This recognition highlights DEEPX’s growing influence in the field of ‘Physical AI’ and underlines its commitment to fostering a robust global partner ecosystem.
Over the past three years, DEEPX has showcased its technological prowess and competitive edge on the world stage. At CES 2024, it made history by becoming the first AI semiconductor company to win a triple crown, securing awards in the Robotics, Embedded Technology, and Hardware Components categories for the DX-M1. The following year, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) named DEEPX a “Must-See Company,” drawing over 16,000 attendees to its exhibition booth. Visitors experienced first-hand how DEEPX’s ultra-low-power AI semiconductors facilitate intelligent industrial transformation.
At CES 2026, the company received Innovation Awards in both the Computer Hardware and Embedded Technology categories, emphasizing its advancements beyond mere performance metrics. DEEPX’s technology is now positioned to enable large-scale AI deployment in real-world industrial environments. This year’s CES serves as a pivotal moment, showcasing tangible market results from DEEPX-powered partner products.
A standout achievement is the ALPON X5, which integrates the DX-M1 and has been recognized as a key transitional solution towards the upcoming AI-6G era. The gateway performs on-device data processing and analysis, eliminating reliance on cloud services. This capability is crucial for achieving ultra-low latency and intelligent control across various sectors, including industrial, urban, and transportation systems. The ALPON X5 is poised to contribute significantly to the future architecture of AI 6G Radio Access Networks, where AI is embedded directly within network nodes and base stations.
Based in the United States, Sixfab is renowned for its work in IoT and edge computing, providing AI gateways and edge modules that utilize single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi and Orange Pi. The award-winning ALPON X5 features DEEPX’s DX-M1 semiconductor, which boasts over 10 times the power efficiency of traditional GPUs while maintaining high-precision AI inference at under 5 watts. This allows for reliable AI operations in power-limited industrial environments, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and reduced heat generation.
The CES judging panel praised the ALPON X5 as a “realistic and scalable AI infrastructure model,” highlighting its potential to replace conventional cloud-centric AI architectures. It has been identified as a core platform for real-time data processing and autonomous perception in smart factories, retail, cities, and mobility applications.
Looking ahead, DEEPX and Sixfab plan to collaborate on a joint reference platform targeting the global industrial AI gateway market. Their objective is to accelerate the adoption of energy-efficient and sustainable AI infrastructure across a range of industries.
During CES 2026, taking place from January 6–9 in Las Vegas, DEEPX will showcase its award-winning products alongside Sixfab’s ALPON X5. The company will also introduce the newly established CES Foundry session, where it will present its vision and technological roadmap for the ‘Physical AI’ era alongside global partners. An on-site media briefing will unveil DEEPX’s next-generation ultra-low-power AI semiconductors and its global ecosystem strategy to set new industry standards for on-device AI.
Okan Saracoglu, Vice President of Sixfab, remarked on the significance of the award, stating, “Winning CES’s Best of Innovation award marks the official recognition of Sixfab’s pursuit of practical AI innovation. DEEPX’s DX-M1 chip has turned our long-standing vision of ultra-efficient, high-performance edge computing into reality.”
Meanwhile, Lokwon Kim, CEO of DEEPX, emphasized the importance of this achievement, stating, “This award is especially meaningful because it demonstrates that DEEPX’s technology extends beyond the semiconductor itself — it is powering our customers’ and partners’ products, together setting a new global benchmark for innovation.” With the DX-M1 now enabling a partner’s Best of Innovation product, DEEPX is poised to continue its leadership in ensuring that AI is deployed efficiently, responsibly, and sustainably worldwide.
