The Women’s Fellowship of the First Congregational United Church of Christ is set to host its annual Homemade Bread & Salad Luncheon on September 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This community event invites residents to enjoy a menu featuring homemade breads, an assortment of salads, and coffee, with gluten-free options available for those with dietary restrictions. The cost of the meal is $10.

In addition to the luncheon, attendees can explore the Holiday Boutique, which will offer decorative items suitable for various celebrations throughout the year. Proceeds from both the meal and the boutique will contribute to mission projects supported by the Women’s Fellowship.

The Women’s Fellowship has a history of impactful community service. Recent initiatives include collecting school supplies and laundry essentials for the Laundry Love program, gathering food donations for local organizations such as Buffalo Bridges, Community Action, and Salvation Army pantries. They also provide Christmas gifts for clients at the North Dakota State Hospital and have funded crafts for vacation Bible school at the Anne Carlsen Center.

The church is located at 201 2nd St. SE in Jamestown, making it accessible for community members eager to participate in the event. The Women’s Fellowship encourages all to join in this opportunity to enjoy good food while supporting essential community projects.

With its focus on fellowship and service, the luncheon promises not only to nourish attendees but also to contribute positively to the local community.
