Uniqlo Launches ‘Zootopia 2’ Apparel Collection on Nov. 1

Uniqlo has unveiled a new apparel and accessories collection inspired by the upcoming film, Zootopia 2. This collaboration, part of Disney’s Magic for All project, will be available in stores and online starting November 1, 2023. The collection aims to reflect Uniqlo’s vision of making Lifewear a canvas for creativity and imagination, according to Yukihiro Katsuta, group senior executive officer at Uniqlo.

As part of Disney’s promotional event, dubbed “Ssssurprise Week,” the collection showcases 15 unique unisex styles for both adults and children. This event ties in with the excitement surrounding the film, where a character named Gary De’Snake, voiced by Ke Huy Quan, makes his debut. The vibrant and colorful collection includes wardrobe essentials such as sweatshirts and graphic T-shirts, perfectly timed for the fall season.

The designs prominently feature beloved characters from the original film, including Judy Hopps, voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Nick Wilde, voiced by Jason Bateman. Additionally, the collection introduces fans to new characters, enriching the narrative experience.

Uniqlo’s collaboration with Disney dates back to 2009, establishing a long-standing partnership that has evolved over the years. In 2015, the brand launched a collection characterized by a bohemian style and casual items, showcasing their commitment to innovation in fashion. Founded in 1949 in Japan, Uniqlo has grown into a global apparel powerhouse with over 1,000 stores worldwide. Recently, the company celebrated the fifth anniversary of its circular initiative, Re.Uniqlo, which emphasizes sustainability through recycling and repair services.

The Zootopia 2 sequel, set to premiere in theaters on November 26, 2023, continues the adventures of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they tackle another thrilling case.
