The Santa Clarita Artists Association (SCAA) is set to host its 35th annual Art Classic on September 27 and 28, 2025. This event will take place at the Cedar Hall Ballroom, located at 20880 Centre Point Parkway in Santa Clarita. The Art Classic serves as a fundraiser aimed at supporting the SCAA’s high school art scholarship program, along with providing free live art demonstrations to the public and funding for the 6th Street Gallery in Old Town Newhall.

The Art Classic will kick off on Saturday, September 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., featuring an awards ceremony and gala from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Attendees can also enjoy art viewing on Sunday, September 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This two-day event promises to be a vibrant celebration of local artistry while contributing to important educational initiatives.

Judging the art presented at the event will be award-winning artists Laurie Hendrix and Liz Tucker. Their expertise and recognition in the art community add significant credibility and excitement to the competition. Participants will showcase a wide range of artistic expressions, reflecting the diverse talents within the Santa Clarita area.

The funds raised through the Art Classic support the SCAA’s commitment to fostering young artists in the community. The high school art scholarship program provides crucial financial assistance to aspiring students pursuing their creative passions. Additionally, the free art demonstrations aim to engage the public and inspire a deeper appreciation for the arts.

For those interested in attending or wishing to learn more about the event, additional information is available by calling 661-252-7639 or visiting the official SCAA website at santaclaritaartists.org. This event not only highlights local talent but also reinforces the community’s dedication to supporting future generations of artists.

The Santa Clarita Artists Association looks forward to another successful Art Classic, bringing together art enthusiasts, local talent, and community support.
