Registration is now open for the annual Oxford Christmas Parade, which is set to take place at 6:30 p.m. on December 1, 2025. Organized by Stronger Together Oxford, this year’s theme celebrates the classic carol with the title “The Twelve Days of Christmas: A Partridge, Some Drummers, and a Whole Lot of Oxford Cheer!” The parade promises to be a vibrant showcase of floats, music, and performances inspired by the whimsical verses of the beloved song.

Details of the Parade

The parade will commence at the University of Mississippi Museum located on 5th Street and will proceed through the historic Downtown Square of Oxford. This annual event invites local businesses, schools, and organizations to participate, fostering community spirit and engagement. Entry is free, but participation is limited to 70 spots, exclusively for the Lafayette-Oxford-University community.

Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, pending approval. Interested parties can find registration details by visiting the Stronger Together Oxford Facebook page or by emailing [email protected] for further information.

Weather Contingency Plans

In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be rescheduled for the same time on December 2, 2025. This proactive approach ensures that all participants and attendees can enjoy the festivities in a safe environment.
