The final Eureka Friday Night Market for the season takes place tonight, September 29, 2023, from 17:30 to 20:30 in Old Town Eureka. This vibrant event, organized by Humboldt Made in collaboration with the city of Eureka and the North Coast Growers Association, transforms the streets of Old Town into a lively celebration of local culture and community spirit.

Performances tonight will include Young & Lovely on the Gazebo stage, the Mighty Violets on the Clark Plaza stage, and the Arcata West African Drum & Dance group on the Romano Gabriel stage. “Friday Night Market is a place where our community comes alive — where music, food, art, and people all intersect,” said Rosa Dixon, executive director of Humboldt Made. She emphasized that the market encapsulates the essence of Humboldt in a single evening, serving as a fitting conclusion to the summer season.

This year’s market has been marked by an impressive lineup of local vendors offering handmade goods and artisanal products. The event also features a Certified Farmers Market, showcasing fresh, local produce alongside a variety of street food vendors, food trucks, and dessert options. Attendees can enjoy a selection of Humboldt-made beer, wine, and craft cocktails at the bar, further enhancing the festive atmosphere.

Charlene Cook, program and marketing director of Humboldt Made, expressed her excitement about the season’s success. “This season has been such a joy to watch unfold every week,” she stated. “Our vendors, performers, and community have brought so much energy and creativity to Old Town. The Friday Night Market is truly built by the people who show up and make it happen, and we can’t wait to celebrate them all at our biggest and best market yet.”

As the summer draws to a close, the Eureka Friday Night Market stands as a testament to the community’s creativity and connection. Tonight’s event promises to encapsulate the spirit of Humboldt County one last time this season, inviting locals and visitors alike to experience the unique charm of Old Town Eureka.
