Remembering Rebecca Lee Rosenbaum: A Life of Passion and Resilience

On July 30, 2025, Rebecca Lee Rosenbaum passed away peacefully at the age of 63, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 27, 1961, in Orange, New Jersey, Rebecca’s life was marked by a multitude of experiences that reflected her vibrant spirit and determination.
A Life Rich with Experiences
Growing up in South Orange and Maplewood, New Jersey, Rebecca developed a passion for the arts and fashion early on. Throughout her life, she engaged in diverse careers, including modeling, fitness, and art gallery sales. Her keen sense of style and love for high fashion were evident in her everyday life.
Rebecca was married to the late Jerry “JR” Rosenbaum for over 22 years. Their relationship was characterized by a shared love for travel, dining, and the performing arts. Together, they nurtured lasting friendships and created cherished memories while navigating life’s challenges side by side.
Beyond her marriage, Rebecca was a devoted sister to Rachel Lee (Gabriel) and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews: Pigeon, Raven, and Phoebe. She was also a stepmother to Barry, Lauren (Dustin), and Emily Rosenbaum, and lovingly known as “Ama” to her step-grandson, Tegan.
Community Impact and Legacy
In honoring Rebecca’s memory, her family has requested donations to the American Cancer Society or the National Asian Artists Project. These organizations reflect her commitment to supporting those affected by cancer and her appreciation for the arts. Rebecca’s legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the art she cherished.
As family and friends remember her, they celebrate a life filled with passion, resilience, and an unwavering spirit. Rebecca Lee Rosenbaum will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for her vibrant presence and the joy she brought into the lives of others.
