The Horizon Community Foundation has designated Mental Health Services and Awareness as the focus for its upcoming grantmaking initiative. The 410 Giving Circle invites nonprofit organizations in Northern Kentucky to apply for funding aimed at addressing this critical issue. Applications are open now and must be submitted by midnight on October 26, 2025.
Eligibility and Application Details
To qualify for funding, organizations must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating in Boone, Kenton, or Campbell counties. The grants will support programs, initiatives, or services that enhance mental health awareness, prevention, treatment, or access to care. Interested nonprofits can find further details and submit their applications on the Horizon Community Foundation’s website.
“The 410 Giving Circle is about pooling our resources to make a bigger impact together,” said Nancy Grayson, President & CEO of the Horizon Community Foundation. “This year, our members were passionate about focusing on mental health, recognizing how important awareness and access are for individuals and families across Northern Kentucky.”
Community Impact and Ongoing Membership
The 410 Giving Circle consists of local donors who collaborate to address pressing community issues by pooling their contributions and directing grants to impactful nonprofit organizations. By prioritizing mental health services and awareness, the group aims to foster solutions that build resilience, expand access, and strengthen the overall health of the community.
Although the grant cycle has commenced, membership in the 410 Giving Circle remains open during this application window, which extends through the end of October. Individuals interested in joining can find more information and the commitment form on the foundation’s website.
The Horizon Community Foundation was established in 2017 by leaders in Northern Kentucky as a qualified public charitable organization, with a mission to unite resources and enhance the quality of life for all residents in the area.
For those who wish to support independent local news and contribute to ongoing community coverage, donations can be made through the foundation’s platform, ensuring that future stories about the people and issues in Northern Kentucky continue to be told.
