Students Return to Class as Schools in Exeter and Boone Open Doors

As the summer break comes to an end, schools across Berks County have reopened their doors to welcome students back for the new academic year. The Exeter Township School District initiated the return on August 21, 2023, while the Daniel Boone School District followed shortly after on August 25, 2023.

Exeter Township School District saw an enthusiastic reception from students, with bright yellow school buses traversing the streets, transporting children eager to start the school year. Among those returning were Wyatt O’Brien, Rowan Schildt, and Kenneth Zuber, all fifth graders at Reiffton School, who looked forward to their first day back.

The excitement continued in the Daniel Boone School District, where students filled the campuses on their first day. The school district reported a successful return as students and staff gathered for the start of the academic year. Students posed for photos, capturing the spirit of the day as they arrived on campus.
