Rebecca’s personal life was equally fulfilling. She was the devoted wife of the late Jerry “JR” Rosenbaum. Over their 22 years of marriage, they reveled in traveling, dancing, and dining together, sharing a mutual appreciation for the arts, including museums, ballet, and theater. Their relationship was characterized by a commitment to supporting one another through life’s challenges, building lasting friendships along the way.

In addition to her role as a wife, Rebecca was a loving sister to Rachel Lee (Gabriel) and an adored aunt to her nieces and nephews, Pigeon, Raven, and Phoebe. She also embraced her role as stepmother to Barry, Lauren (Dustin), and Emily Rosenbaum, and affectionately took on the title of “Ama” to her step-grandson, Tegan.

Rebecca’s family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the National Asian Artists Project. These organizations resonate with her values, reflecting her commitment to supporting those in need and promoting the arts.
