Feadship Unveils Project 717, a 50-Meter Superyacht Marvel

Feadship has officially launched its latest superyacht, known as Project 717, capturing attention for its impressive design and craftsmanship. Measuring an elegant 50 meters, this yacht embodies the creativity and artistry synonymous with the Feadship brand, appealing to both yacht enthusiasts and potential owners alike.

The visual harmony of Project 717 is a result of meticulous design choices made by the team at Studio De Voogt. “In the exterior design, we extended the lines without allowing the yacht to feel stretched,” said Jan Schaffers, Senior Designer at Studio De Voogt. He highlighted the importance of the widened shoulders along the sun deck, which contribute to the yacht’s balanced aesthetic. The main deck focuses on a beach-like atmosphere, particularly noticeable when the fold-down bulwarks are opened, creating expansive views and a feeling of openness comparable to larger yachts.

Guests aboard Project 717 can enjoy a spacious layout on the main deck, which includes ample seating and a glass-fronted hot tub that enhances the connection to the ocean. The well-designed lounging and dining area features large windows that maintain privacy while fostering a close connection to the outdoors. On the sun deck, there is seating, a bar area with barbecue facilities, and a large dining space complete with ceiling fans, creating a perfect environment for entertaining.

The yacht accommodates up to ten guests across five staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite that offers panoramic views, a private study, and a separate dressing area. This thoughtful arrangement ensures both comfort and luxury for all guests.

Project 717 is equipped with advanced propulsion technology developed through the Feadship Advanced Electrical Drive program. This system utilizes thrusters for propulsion and steering, a configuration that significantly reduces drag while enhancing efficiency and maneuverability, resulting in a more comfortable onboard experience.
